Island Tree

 “Hannah,” I yelled, “help me.”

“Where are you?” screamed Hannah.

“Over here,” I replied, “my leg is stuck!”

Hannah rushed over to me.

“There is no way I get you out from under that tree,” she said.

“No you have to,” I screamed in pain.

“I am going to get help,” she said.

“No you idiot we are on an island there is no one to help,” I said getting frustrated.

Zoe rushed over, “What happened, I heard someone scream,” she said. Then she turned and saw me and screamed.

“Zoe we have to get her out from under the tree,” Hannah said scared.

“Yah but how?” Zoe replied.

“What if we tried to dig the sand up from under her then pull her out,” Said Hannah.

“Ok, that’s a good idea,” replied Zoe.

The girls started digging. It took them a long time.

“Ok I think we should try to pull her out,” said Zoe.

“Ok!” said Hannah.

The girls dragged her out.

“Can you feel your legs, Piper?” said Hannah.

“No what if I won’t be able to walk,” she said worriedly.

“What time is it,” said Zoe as she sat up.

“Wait did we fall asleep?” I asked.

I tried to stand up but couldn’t.

“I can’t move my legs,” I yelled.

“What are we going to do,” said Hannah as she started to cry.

“I don’t know,” said Zoe, “I’m scared and hungry and tired.”

“Someone should go look for food,” I said, “we can’t just sit here all day.”

“I will go look for food,” said Zoe.

“Ok, I will stay with Piper,” replied Hannah.

After a little while, which felt like hours.

“I found some weird looking fruit,” said Zoe, “at least I think it is a fruit.”

We all sat there in silence, eating what we thought was fruit.

Out of nowhere, Hannah said, “What are we gonna do, we are stranded on an island with nothing.”
